French singer, songwriter and pianist Julien Simoni creates his own brand of alternative pop music.
Borrowing from any style that crosses his path, his music includes elements of pop, jazz, funk, soul, R’n’B and rock, and influences from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Christine and the Queens, Dirty Loops, Clean Bandit, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and many more.
From 2008 to 2012, he attended Toulouse Business School and practiced, performed and composed music on the side. After graduating, he decided to make music his career and started to work professionally and recording his own songs.
Julien has been performing live since he was 18, and he loves the stage so much that he’s sometimes gigged several times a day at an incredible number of music venues, nightclubs, and piano bars. He’s also played at private corporate parties in Marseilles, Toulouse, Barcelona, Bern, Paris and New York, including performances on stage at the Zenith, Toulouse’s Casino Barrière of Toulouse and at, Jazz in Marciac.
In 2016, he started to draw online attention after he released his two singles, Conspiracy Song and So Much in Love, which both had more than 50 000 plays on YouTube. Those songs are available on all the major music streaming and downloading platforms.
In 2017, Julien released his 3rd single, Emma, which features a warm, modern alternative pop arrangement. His first EP is on the go.
